I dont get it.  We'll  probably get at least 5  from this list.  Pick any 5 of them and they're much better and more crowd pleasures  then the five we got last friday.. 

On other note,  if PJ were supposed  to be announced last friday but postponed their tour announcement  to January like people from 10Club forums suggested - would RW wait for them or try to make other plans?

Wait for them, I guess. They definitely won't pull out on Pearl Jam, it's a certified sold out day despite the often repeats. If these stories are true I imagine RW to announce some strong Thursday names (sub/dance closer/Barn headliner) this and next week. At least that gets the ticket sales going while they're waiting for PJ.

The reason I asked my question is that if they're waiting anyway,  why didnt they announced a sub/closer/Barn headliner last Friday? Maybe they're thinking about changing this day lineup according to another headliner,  especially if that PJ tour isnt 100% certainty ?

Although a couple of them don't exactly fit my taste in music, Pearl Jam*, Rammstein, RHCP, F&TM, Editors, BMTH, The Offspring is looking pretty strong so early on!

What makes you think this? Will be happy either way to be honest but think it would be strange to have Coldplay do Germany-Belgium-Germany 3 days in a row.

Foals have just been announced for NOS Alive on 8th July so could be contenders but think they might do Pukkelpop just because they're going to be headlining R&L

I didn't know about the Germany gigs apologies there.

Just thought with everything I have recently read about Pearl Jam and the fact I saw Coldplay are playing Amsterdam a few days prior to the festival they might do Werchter with it being 2 hours away if that.

AC/DC are going to annonce european dates. Bruce Springsteen has announced a US tour. Maybe gigs in Europe after... 2 headliners are missing. I can see Pearl Jam on thursday and concerning sunday... Many choices (ACDC, Bruce, Kings of Leon (admit you forgot them lol), Guns'n'Roses... Coldplay seems unlikely, Foo Fighters too but the shootings in Paris have changed their calendar... U2 doesn't seem probable too...The Libertines are touring but I don't know how big they are in Belgium. Don't forget Paul McCartney, , the Rolling Stones and many more (Eminem?)) . + subheadliners like Foals or/and the National

Florence is the main headliner on Sunday, not really doubting that. For Thursday I guess we'll have to wait and see. If they have withdrawn their European tour, perhaps Werchter can work together with the other festivals that had PJ lined up, in order to attract a new headliner.

Yes. Something like The National or Ellie Goulding -> Florence -> Netsky or Major Lazer + typical RW undercard could easily sell out by March.

The National - Florence + the Machine - Netsky  ....though I agree with Dietediet it would probably sell out quite quickly, it would go down as the worst day in my opinion in my 8 times at RW

Thank you my friend. I had decided not to go next year but my 17yr old daughter(I know, I'm an old man  ) wants to go and I thought I'd go with her for her first time.....plus, all this talk of Pearl Jam has gotten me all worked up

I am personally planning on flying to Amsterdam for £30 stopping 3 night and then travelling over on the train to Werchter (2 hours) before flying home for £19 from Brussels Charleroi! Exciting times
