Me and my wife are going to our first Werchter this year, two combis and A1 campsite tickets are secured.
Searched for the information about the Hive (thanks everyone here!), and as far as I understand the only differences are:
- it opens a day earlier;
- it's operated by the festival itself;
- there are some afterparties.
Should we try to get tickets for the Hive on Ticketswap closer to the date if between a sleep and a party we definitely choose a sleep? Or is A1 good enough for us?
Also, don't have much hope, but if we are lucky enough to find decent priced accomodation in Leuven how difficult is it to get to the festival site and back every day?
I’ve heard stories of folk just blagging their way onto a different return coach as it’s a bit of a free for all. I suppose if there’s spaces on a coach and the driver is not too bothered then it could be worth trying. But I’d make sure if you try early enough that you’ve always the back up of your legit bus return to Glasgow.
Really hoping the info about Gaga playing is right, it would be amazing. She’s such a brilliant performer.. now would be the perfect time for her to come back.
Hopefully just come through only bout of flu I’m going to get this year… back to the gym today. Run tomorrow… those scales gave me unexpected surprise this morning 🫣
