Some pre and post festival gigs are scattered across parks and venues across the city. The actual parc del forum site is fantastic, the furthest stages from each other are probably a 10 minute walk, but it worth it to stop mixed sound. Only thing you need to prep for really is an all concrete arena that can be sore on the knees - do a lot of sitting after walking between stages!

Ah sweet, not really more than a normal festival then. Was expecting them to 've quite far apart spread across the city.

Nah nah, the proper festival is at parc del forum on the north east of the city, just on the coastline. Highly highly recommend going!

Governor's Ball in NYC (same weekend as Primavera) is slowly releasing their lineup via crossword puzzle. So far, the clues indicate Father John Misty and Chvrches. Other acts that people are working out as they work on the puzzle include Phosphorescent, Sia (or MIA or M83...not sure yet), Beirut, Jamie XX, Fidlar, and ASAP Rocky.

hadn't even considered them, but that's shite news regardless. hoping to catch them somewhere down the line after foolishly missing them at Glastonbury last year

Too soon for PS as well as Glastonbury I reckon. Could see them doing Latitude (though not sure where as they're bigger than recent subs and smaller than recent headliners) or possibly Sound City, which I'm sure would be good news for you.

Whatever happens I'm hoping for a proper tour as well. Much better when they have the chance to do over two hours of stuff like last tour.
