Buying Tickets for a Group of 8

I've always wondered - with a group of larger than 8 is it best to split into two groups of 4 or overlapping groups of six (ie some lucky people have twice the chance)? If both go through at a similar time would that cause problems/increase the chance of getting kicked out?

Thanks in advance...

Depends on your friendship. I'd go for 6+2, and try in all the sales for the remaining 2 if you're not successful for both groups as the secret sales should be easier to respond to with 2 tickets rather than trying to enter 4 on a mobile.

Don't overlap as the screen warns if one persons registration has already been used so you have to delete them before you can continue, this wastes valuable time!!

Make a clear break in the group - as above if you overlap the form will need resubmitting by which time you could loose the lot.

We had the same dillema last year - although it was 7, as the group was 3 couples we did them first and then attempted to get the 7th and failed.

We just kept an eye on twitter & here and snaffled a single ticket up dead easily on the resales (although we had to get him a coach ticket to do so). We took all his kit down in the campervan and setup his tent behind the van. When he arrived on the coach he walked throught the site an met up with us - SORTED.

For future years we decided we'd get as many tickets on the coach sale as possible and then try for a couple of singles in main sale - they would take the campervan's down and coach-party would walk straight through to the campervan fields like he did this year, so you have two bites at the cherry, worst case scenario is you have to camp in a tent (which isn't fun in your late 50's).
