tax credit - conservative edit shame 20.10.15

we want everyone working

its not just a conservative dream

tax payers are fed up of shirking

they believe working provides self esteem.

so they set up a guide

so all would realize

instead of forcing the employer to adequately provide

the government would step in and subsidize.

all going smooth

but evident was the no equality

the tight and stingy boss did groove

paying the bare minimum made them richer then royalty.

now the government are withdrawing

it is a turn around and total flip

even own party back bench er's are roaring

they are even jumping ship.

you have no moral code

out of a stone you will squeeze

how will mr Osbourne deliver this explode

all smiley with spin topped with cheese.

on the conservative party is shame

this idea is not vintage

so i am playing the poetry game

i will tell the world from the box in highgate village.

god you lot are picky on here.  I am after no domination - just love getting peoples views.   I guess most users on here will not have children or are so well paid they have no idea what tax credit is.

ignorance is bliss.

I love that you assume to know whether I have kids or not, or am so well paid that I don't know about tax credits, yet we have never conversed on here once. Simply because you don't get involved in discussions, you just spam the place up with poems then leave. Neil already told you once to stop starting new threads needlessly, yet you don't appear to get the message. The "general news discussion" thread is chock full of discussion about tax credits, yet that thread is obviously not worthy, so you start your own.

so far, you are the equivalent of someone walking into a room full of strangers and shouting "look at me everyone" "who likes emmerdale?", then when no-one does, you just start talking about emmerdale.

If you want to be a part of the community - welcome, the people on here are generally great, if you want a publishing platform for your poetry - get a blog. But please stop stinking the place up with your pointless threads.

Why do you make your posts on this forum? I haven't seen anything relevant to festivals, or music, or to topics raised here. In addition, you seem to have completely ignored every post not in your own threads. T8yman's analogy seems pretty apt right now, and I don't understand why, of all the various places on the internet you choose to irritate people here.

Maybe you'd be better starting a poetry thread, and putting your poems in there? And then anyone who wants to engage can do so, and anyone who doesn't want to see them can keep out of that particular thread?

I'm sure there used to be a poetry thread but couldn't find it.

neil - would this type of specific interest be better placed in the jokes/word association game/misc stuff forum?

poetrychatbore - I feel for you, I think I get that you want a bit of poetry interaction, and want to do something a bit different, it's just a case of finding the right niche for it.
