I'm just a bit touchy about it these days.

Twitter (not here I might add) is full of folk scheming to find local addresses to register at :(

As far as I'm aware GFL usually keep this number offline - it's historically been a real sales boost to the local papers.

The fact that you can buy via the website on Thursday suggests that they have a few tickets available.

I haven't managed to purchase yet, no panic though, as didn't manage to get them until Tuesday last year - still keeping the faith !

shame if it is published online now then, I've heard about that sales boost for the local papers before (probably on this website!) and always thought it was a nice example of how the festival benefits less obvious businesses

Might be an idea to go back to selling tickets via the local Tourist Info centres. For local tickets anyway. That would be a boost to their income and the local cafes might sell a few coffees to those in the queues.

Total fail. First time in over a decade I've failed to get a local's ticket. I just hope that everyone who got a ticket today is actally a local. Maybe a cross reference with the elctoral register might be in order. Or a closer look at any address with a suspisciously large number of occupants.
