Sunday Tickets for Friends

Okay, so I live in the catchment area for Sunday tickets and some friends from all around the country are desperate to go but missed out in the lucky draw.

They have altered their registration to have my BA4 postcode, now, some questions...

1) What kind of security checks do they do on the buses? Just a general this is you in the photo or do they check postcodes against ID's - which will obviously be different in my friends cases?

2) If I am the lead booker and have a BA4 postcode, do they need to change their postcodes at all? Or can I just buy the tickets for them as I am the lead booker and you can bring friends who aren't local?

This is the exact behavior that's messing it up for locals.......:sorry:

They moved out of the catchment and are now not affected by the festival disruption so are not entitled to a ticket.

If you're stuck for an excuse explain to them that you can't help because there are now more stringent checks and registering them against your address etc could affect your own registration.

I was simply asking the procedure.

I guess you've sussed it already - the procedure is that you shouldn't carry out this intended action. It would mean that several people who are actually living locally will not be able to go. I mean I could claim that I once lived there for a period of 5 days so should be entitled to a locals ticket. All that said, i suspect this is just a trolling thread rather than a genuine request for information.

I have lived in the catchment area for approx. 2 days over the years since 1987 so I should be able to get "local" tickets too...........

In fact next June I will live in Pilton for 10 days....

Sorry that should have said 200 days
