They are describing it as 'very good comedy line up news' as well, and as noted above its usually a bit of an afterthought, so wouldn't take much for it to be bigger. I'm liking that they are mixing up the announcements a bit this year instead of a succession of 8-10 band announcements.
tbrock
So I noticed that Resurrection fest and Trees are the same weekend, they share a few bands (one band) already does anyone think there are any other bands who could be at trees that are on the resurrection lineup? https://www.resurrectionfest.es/lineup/?lang=en Edited March 21, 2018 by tbrock They actually only share one band

Would love Turnstile but they're an exclusive at Outbreak so they can be ruled out. 1 hour ago, tbrock said: They'd probably be the heaviest band to ever play trees, but I'd love to see Thy Art is Murder. Pop Punk Sucks
I've got a hunch that this hopfully means an announcement will come soon.
Chavmeisterdeluxe
Next week, said in an email. Just in time to scare the Easter bunny.
Hart Attack
20 new bands being announced at 9AM on Wednesday.
SOAD
Awesome. Was wondering when it would be this week. Hoping we get the third headliner. Think this announcement will decide if I get a ticket. Leaning to yes at the moment.
UndergroundSound
Doesn't sound like they're giving the third headliner does it? Just 20 acts no mention of headliner atm.
SOAD
20 acts even if it doesn't include third headliner will be good anyway. Hopefully some higher up main bands or lower stage headliners included. Marmozets would be a great addition for me.

Not reliable at all but i was in their IG live on their album release night and i asked if they are playing 2000 trees and they said they arent. Obviously that could have been a lie or not booked at that point but thats what they said.
Chavmeisterdeluxe
They've not mentioned the headliner but I'd have thought headliner is one of the bands in this announcement (see my last post for an obvious hint that seemed to go unnoticed)
justanothername
Given that clue and the timing of the announcement I'm 99% sure it's Frightened Rabbit and that make me very happy. They were great last week so will be looking forward to seeing them again Also shame about Marmozets, I thought they were nailed on but I gave up on them when they announced that quite big London show in October. Guess they'd rather do their own thing
LiamEP
Frightened rabbit would be pretty cool, not a huge fan but they’re a nice contrast to ATDI and Enter Shikari. Saying that ATDI have grown on me a lot over the last couple months so it might end up a perfect trio for me.
Andrinald
Frightened Rabbit would be my ideal choice, fingers crossed. Also, I believe there is going to be an Axiom stage on the Thursday too... I thought there might not have been.
SOAD
If we get Frightened Rabbit do you reckon it will be the anniversary shows? I really enjoy later Frightened Rabbit but adore The Midnight Organ Fight. Loved seeing them live on that tour supporting Biffy.

SOAD
Great announcement all in all but holy crap they booked Blood Command!?!?! Ridiculously excited for that one. Edited March 28, 2018 by SOAD
WFD
Happy with that - delighted with Blood Red Shoes, meanwhile Frightened Rabbit complete a good mix of headliners.

Dead! and Bloody Knees are also highlights for me. Great announcement overall, need to get listening to the ones i'm not so familiar with, any particular recommendations? SOAD
Doesn't look like Frightened Rabbit are headlining. Same place on the poster as Hell is for Heroes
UndergroundSound
https://twitter.com/2000trees/status/978910674423369728 Confirmed - third headliner still to come, that's great that we'll be getting Frightened Rabbit as well as another headliner.
