Announcement is being made soon apparently, think its been delayed.

 

Any ideas? I've got an feeling might be Ocean Colour Scene on Saturday (they have just announced a gig in Moseley on the Friday so thinking might be waiting for that to sell out before they're announced for Truck on Saturday maybe??)

That'd make sense. It's the sort of gig they should be doing rather than falling down major festival line-ups.

I'd be happy with Editors for one of the nights. Maybe not the Sunday though, want something a bit more upbeat to end the festival.

New to truck scene but friends said it was good last year, so I'm tempted to go this year.

What sort of stuff can I expect from the first announcement..?

Last year they announced one of the headliners and a few of the other bands in the first announcement then more a month later, so possibly more of the same, unless they decide to make a bigger announcement in order to shift the tickets a bit quicker. 

The festival itself is really good...small site so no massive hikes, reasonably priced drinks and food and can take your own stuff in the arena, really nice crowd. Even better now you get 3 days.

Ah, cheers. Rat Boy seems an excitable fellow. Very little there for me but it's probably not that bad an idea to try and go for acts that are on the way up (excl. MSP) in the top spaces as a change of strategy

Very happy with the Manics. For the price 3 decent headliners (if the Editors rumour is true)

Rat Boy might be hyped to playing there this year but guessing they won't be invited back next year after leaking the line-up

Actually it was somewhere on here but just checked their website and looks like they are in France all Truck weekend.

Just had look at editors tour schedule, looks like that event is all weekend. Not that the editors are playing in France all weekend, a combo off maniacs/editors would reel me in.

Ynot has been announced and has an almost identical lineup to Truck so far...

Does this mean we can expect the last headline spot to go to someone like Noel or The Hives?
