LCR
Hi purchased 2 x EE power bars last year for Glastonbury - I am not an ee customer. But now I'm being sent round a in circles trying to get a refund as they have been recalled. Has anyone managed to do this? Kondor and EE are giving different advice. Thanks
Dukeicon
Don't you have to take it to an EE store & they'll give you a £20 voucher to redeem online? https://ee.co.uk/power-bar-recall

LCR
I tried that but as I am not an ee customer I can't use the voucher - apparently Kondor will issue a cash refund?

Have you tried tweeting EE? They are pretty good at replying.
dj matt james
I walked into the EE shop in Cabots circus, Bristol. They gave me a voucher to use. I am not an EE customer but was told that I can use the voucher against the new power bar when they are released.
stardustjunkie
I tweeted EE about this yesterday because it crossed my mind. I told them I didn't redeem the voucher because there was nothing in the store for less than £20 that I felt would be useful to me and I wasn't prepared to spend more money on something I didn't need. I didn't buy the charger in the first place as I am an EE customer, but it would be nice to get a new one back in time for Glastonbury. When I gave them the charger I was told I'd get a text to tell me when new ones would be available. I still haven't had a text and I have a feeling we won't get a replacement unfortunately.
