Nearly 12 inches of rain in Penrith in 24 hours will wash Hackthorpe and most of the rest of Cumbria away. Never mind marshalls in hi vis vests,  we'll need the UN.

As long as there's no wet stuff for putting up tents I don't really care. Obviously it would be awesome to have a dry one but I really don't see that happening. I have bought Muck boots so hopefully no more numb toes!

Yep spot on, all looking fine in my head now, it always rains a tad but isn't that what Chain Wallahs is for? The odd morning shower is nothing (if it's is just that!)

Get ya wellies out. Persistent rain on Thursday and regular showers throughout the weekend.

 

It won't be as wet as 2014 but we know that the ground just doesnt drain. Its likely that the main thoroughfares through the campsite and heavy traffic areas around the mainstage will be a quagmire.
