Acid_Haze
I thought I'd start up a thread for all the acts that are ruled out from this year's Glastonbury, either because they're exclusive's to other festivals, touring at far-away places at the same time, or they've outright said they aren't playing. I'm sure we had a thread like this last year didn't we? While it's good to talk about who to expect, it's also good to know who not to expect so we don't get our hopes up! Anyway these are the only acts I can think of right now: All the acts at the Electric Forest festival - Bassnectar, Major Lazer, Bonobo, Fetty Wap, Flosstradamus, Gorgon City, Porter Robinson, Kamasi Washington All the acts at Sled Island - Built to Spill, Angel Olson, Deafheaven, Julia Holter, Protomartyr, The Sonics, Guided by Voices, HEALTH Someone also said Joanna Newsom won't be playing too? I'm not sure why. Feel free to reply with any bands you know aren't playing!

I always dread this thread coming out but it's a good way to keep track of things. Joanna's a UK exclusive at EOTR unfortunately

I'm not sure, if any of those festivals have acts on the thursday then we can't technically rule any out, unless some acts are playing 4 festivals that weekend, or an extra show. Gnomicide
While checking a few bands schedules, I came across this beauty - Mike The Headless Chicken Festival I need to go. Quote The Amazing true story of this famous fowl dates back to September 10, 1945 when Mike, a young Wyandotte rooster, was about to become the dinner of Fruita, Colorado, farmer Lloyd Olsen. With a sharp ax in hand, Mr. Olsen firmly held Mike, preparing to make the bird ready for his wife Clara's cooking pot. Mr. Olsen swung the implement, thereby lopping off poor Mike's head. Mike shook off the event, then continued trying to peck for food. Mike's will to live remains an inspiration. It is a great comfort to know you can live a normal life, even after you have lost your mind. Mike has also inspired an annual festival the third weekend of May. Thousands of people flock to downtown Fruita for music, contests, food and family fun. Edited February 26, 2016 by Gnomicide

Rose-Colored Boy
Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift and Paolo Nutini are in the studio/on holiday until the Autumn/next year Mumford and Florence are (apparently) only doing BST in the UK this year, although they would obviously be ruled out for having headlined recently anyway Edited February 26, 2016 by Zac Quinn
