wwinstanley
Apologies if this has been asked elsewhere but I couldn't seem to find anything. Basically I will be trying for re-sale tickets, might as well try for coach tickets on the Thursday too. What I want to do is familiarise myself with the process so I have a bit more of a clue when panic starts. As I have never seen the coach ticket page on seetickets. I'm guessing it will be a case of what coach tickets have been given up that go back on sale? If I get through to the page do I secure a ticket then pick coach location afterwards? Or do I pick location before I can secure a ticket? If someone with previous knowledge can give me a quick summary that would be a great help! And I'm sure the info will prove helpful to anyone else who reads this! Cheers
shuttlep
I am not sure . to be honest I have never bought my own ticket someone else always has. apart from one year when I won one. but I did have friends there one year who got tickets in the resale and they only had a choice of tickets on the coach from London. So they got them. Drove from Leeds to London abandoned the car for 5 days and then got the coach back to London and drove back to Leeds. They had no other choice with tickets they said. which makes me think there isn't really much choice to choose where you get the coach from just what is there. A Guy Called Matt
Pretty sure you enter reg numbers and postcodes then select locations then pay....... but I am also sure that you have to choose the day first. There were not many available in the last two years.
Michaels denim shorts
The first screen is Wednesday or Thursday departure options which take you to the pages with the coach departure destinations, you select which one you want & fill out registration numbers. Make sure you put the lead Booker (whoevers card you are paying with) first as its prefilled with address details on the payment page
sheffieldlady
There is just the extra steps of selecting your day for the coach and selecting your departure location. All locations aside from London will then go through to the rest of the booking page, much like that of non-coach tickets. If you're going from London you will have to select a time you want to go. So long as you have all the information ready to go before the process starts, it's the same as getting normal tickets, complete with the same levels of stress
stuwilky
Make sure you also have enough cash in the bank to pay for the full festival ticket plus fees (£228 plus £5) AND the full coach fare as well. If youre on a hefty journey it could be another £50 - so for 2 tickets you need close to £500 available. Someone missed out due to that on here last year.
