Morning Thurlow, ticket day was the first thing I thought about this morning, all lined up, trying for friends (and anyone else) ,.... 6 of us trying here and will be lined up again on Sunday for anyone that needs help !

I have woken up feeling really.......... well........ pissed off!!

I have no idea why which is the most frustrating part of it.

Tonight will sort it though when I hget in and get tickets for folks I have never met.

That was a very sucessful resale amongst my friends and fellow efesters looking for tickets...lets hope for more of the same :)

Perhaps not the best place to put this, but worth a try - after 2 tickets on Sunday, lots of help being offered in the resale help thread etc. but I'm really sceptical & downright worried on handing over card details online.

Also worrying about reg. numbers being mixed up into groups and then the other reg. numbers getting through elsewhere and then that brings up the  message "a ticket for that reg. Number has already been purchased, it's the same vice versa.

Im just being stupid right? 

Desperation is kicking in though and I know if i don't, then come Monday I'll just wish I'd posted my card details up for everyone to see.

I hate to ask for help just from regulars as the whole community on here Is helpful - but if there are any regulars wouldn't mind helping me out to get 2 tickets is be very grateful of a pm. I'll also be trying for just the 2 tickets and will have all my family trying aswell so my reg numbers. Won't be mixed into groups. 

Desperately trying to stay positive.

This is the right place to put this because you can post whatever in here

Communication is key when multiple people are trying and you are in different groups. Just have a clear path of communication between everyone and you should know before its too late

Cant offer to help im afraid, trying for myself as my main priority and i already have a few groups after me to try for but maybe other can and will help.

Post it in the ticketless thread on here as well and if you've been to efests meets etc i think it helps if others know who you are, several people ive met at meets have offered to help me despite me not knowing them well. So if you get there this year make some good contacts

hi Anderson, just a note of caution, please don't post your card details on here as it is a public forum (sure you were not intending to but it did read like you may be considering it) if you go on the ticketless thread you will be put into a group (i think)and then it is up to your group how you deal with payment either text details out or if someone gets through for you they can ring you and you can give details over the phone. Sorry if I misunderstood your post, but wouldn't want anyone to panic and start giving out bank details here.

Pretty much what others have said.

There has to be an element of trust in all of this even if you tell someone to ring for bank details - after all, if they are dishonest they will still do the nasty then if they really want to.

Over the years I have had lots of other peoples bank details and have dished mine out to others (and have an account that has no overdraft and just the right funds in for things like this).

Re the groups bit - to maximise your chances the more places your names and numbers are the better but yes it is frustrating seeing that folks have got tickets soi you have to remove them... communication is key to that and as long as you tell people to remove your numbers then that is great....... there are though folks who will get themselves tickets and then bugger off without bothering to tell anyone anything nor offer help to others.........

Anyway, ignire the negatives as they are a very very small part.... the positives are massive and if you take the time to communicate trust can be built.

It's 120 years old mine. All the walls are miles out and nearly 10 feet high. Painting them is a nightmare.
