Either meet FF, I'd also like to try the apple pie bourbon! I'm still shocked that Heston has nicked my idea but I am confident mine will be better. I am bringing 30 shot glasses for us to use x

Good morning efesters

How are we all on this piss wet monday morning?

Good morning mate. I feel better after finishing work and having a kip. Problem now is getting to sleep tonight. I am back in on days on Wednesday (Glasto needs paying for) so I only have a 36 hour change over from night to days.

May have to have a sleeper tonight.

I seem to spend every day day dreaming about Glastonbury!  Don't know what I'll think about when it's over (probably how to get tickets for the next one!)

Seems to be how it works though personally speaking there is far more that just one festival to keep me entertained regardless of how good Glastonbury is.

Hi all. It's a beautiful day to be sitting in waiting for a tv to arrive. It sort of died last night! The boys have gone to collect it.

BrighterNow that is exactly what you'll be doing. It's a year long obsession of mine so it's never far from my thoughts!

FF that's probably a good idea... Though peeps can keep their own little shot glass. I'm not sure if I'll make the efests meet, I may just attend the NFR meet on Thursday. Bringing a newbie and don't want to limit what we are doing 2 days running. I'll see... I may be there.

That's very true - and I actually have Nos Primavera before Glastonbury which I'm really excited about as I've never been before. I think it's just this forum, so easy to while away the hours and get yourself all worked up. I tried starting a Nos Primavera thread in the international festivals bit but nobody was interested...

Good morning Efesters

Hope you are all well

Apart from Glastonbury i have at the stadium, bearded theory, kendal calling, victorious festival and End of the Road Festival to look forward too

So todays question is who from the other festivals you are going to would you like to see at Glastonbury or who would you like to see at one of the other festivals from the Glastonbury line up?

Personally Id love to see the Hives or Bill Ryder Jones at Glastonbury

And from the Glastonbury line up i'd love to see Jeff Lynne's ELO away from the Pyramid Stage somewhere smaller

Hi Thurlow, I have family in Portsmouth who have suggested the Victorious Festival but it looks to me like a load of bands playing on the seafront.  With no camping, or in my case caravanning, I wonder how much of a festival feel it actually has?

For me the social side of sitting around the campfire and chilling is a key ingredient.  Is there any of that?

I'm going to Nos Primavera which I haven't been to before but appears to be a fairly small festival, so not much risk of clashes. Because of this I think I'll manage to see everyone I'd like to, therefore I would be happy with completely different bands at Glastonbury!

I'm in the office with Jeffie, that does seem like having ELO in front of you in a smaller setting, but he's not singing.

Re other festivals, Long Division in Wakefield has some great bands playing, but it's just before GF, so I need to be building up Brownie points with MrsCJ  instead of going there :-(

Although I haven't seen any mention of the fall, Carlos. Where you got this info from? Off to see Neil Young the friday so was gonna swerve long division, but the fall may swing it.

Don't hold your breath, I've checked, and my 'off the top of my head' was from the website (https://www.musicglue.com/long-division/) not the poster, so you'd need to check with them. I reckon they're not playing, as they're not on the poster Soz.

Edit - what a bozo - I was looking at previous performers. Gah!

Didn't know where else to put this but just been watching the London Marathon on tele - a massive well done to everyone who ran it and raised cash for charities.

A big well done to anyone else who did something amazing this weekend too.

I don't have a TV so haven't seen or heard much other than what's on the news online and radio. But it did sound impressive! Got to give it to those who run it. I built a polytunnel this weekend, slightly less amazing but still.

I think most of us on here have been tracking a regular poster on here during the marathon. @bennyhana22 did it in 3hrs 5mins. (Or pretty close). Fricking amazing!! It was great to watch I agree, and very humbling.
