Dave85radiohead
I know. That's where we get ours from but Ticketmaster also had the event listed and it was going on sale from tomorrow at 10am tomorrow but they have pulled it now.ย ย Edited February 6, 2020 by Dave85radiohead
Lavazza
Been meaning to post this all week... Got told at the weekend that Grace Jones is 'playing a gig in Cheshire' this summer. Possible Blue Dot headliner?

jannybruck
Grace is doing the Meltdown festival in London late June so it's not unreasonable to think she'd stick around for a few weeks for this. Her London show will be at the Southbank Centre, so it'll sell out instantly.
moz4pm
I'd be pretty disappointed if she headlines.ย
danceonfire
Underworld are playing Boomtown. Reckon they could do be in with a shout.

Dave85radiohead
Saw Grace Jones subbing Pulp a while back.ย She is a great performer but she doesn't really have the songs for me. Really enjoyed it at first but got bored after 20 minutes or so.

Feel free to shoot me down on this but I'd be unpleasantly surprised if GJ was more than a sub (though what a sub it would be). The festival gets bigger with each year and I struggle to see how she has the same calibre or relevance as the last run of headliners. Unless of course they really pushed the boat out with the other two to make it a safer bet When you say 'playing a gig', was it specified as a headliner? ย Edited February 7, 2020 by LowFatIeuanaise

danceonfire
Just announced that all forms of payment will be accepted this time. After listening to feedback. Personally cashless worked fine for us but I did hear of people having top up problems. Nice to see theyโve listened to feedback.
LowFatIeuanaise
Any further ideas of who will play or last minute bits of hearsay?ย I'd like to hope the lineup will drop tomorrow but Bluedot like to teaseย
Dave85radiohead
Not really but some possible bands I'd love to see lower down on the bill are the slow show, murder capital, tindersticks, British Sea Power and cigarettes after sexย
LowFatIeuanaise
All of them would be great. Murder Capital put on a fantastic show. Tindersticks seem like a very 'Bluedot band' and are doing the rounds so here's hoping. As The Go Team pulled out last year (think one of the members got pregnant) I would assume they'll make it up this year Best thing about the fest is how much of a wildcard the undercard can be.ย ย ย
saintupnorth
Only rumour I've heard is Daft Punk, although not from a very reliable source. moz4pm
Daft punk in 2007 is the best gig I've ever seen. Absolutely no chance their comeback gig would be Blue Dot

LowFatIeuanaise
Am I right that there are no Beck UK tour dates? Would be a very impressive exclusive. Groove Armada playing an Ally Pally fest at the end of July so their hat seems truly in the ring
