Coach Resale

So this year we're having to go down the resale route and are looking to double are chances by trying for the coach resale too. I will be looking to go from London, but I had a few questions:

1) Where in London are we expecting SeeTickets to send their coaches from? I've heard conflicting things on this - some say the O2, one person told me Victoria?

2) How much will the ticket + coach cost in total? 

3) How long does the journey take? I don't mind a long journey, I'm just a tad mindful of needing the toilet! Although I guess they'll have coaches with a toilet?

1 - Not sure on that one.

2 - Ticket £228 + £5 transaction fee per ticket + £54 return from London (£39 single + return train fair).

3 - Not sure but I'd imagine around the 3-4 hour mark & i'm sure they would have a toilet on the coach for a long journey.

The See coaches went from the O2 last year (I was on one). It's the National Express coaches that leave from Victoria Coach station.

I think the journey there took about 4-5 hours (it's fine until you get to Stonehenge and the traffic is awful). The journey back was absolutely horrific on our coach. The driver decided to go through central London in scorching heat with a coach that had no air con, no toilet roll or running water. I think it took about 8 hours in total and everyone was very ratty.

I got a full refund on my coach ticket because the air con was actually raining on me and the people behind me.

All that being said, I have another coach package as for me it's the easiest and cheapest way to get to and from the festival. I don't trust myself to drive home on the Monday due to tiredness.

Thanks guys. The likelihood is I'll get the coach there but get the train back as my experiences of the train have not been *too* bad these past two years...(it's just that outbound is always a packed nightmare).

I have a better success rate with the resale than the general sale but still starting to feel *very* nervous!

Good luck  Remember there are always the little secret sales in May as well.

I personally prefer the coach as it means you can put your luggage in the hold and have a guaranteed seat. I didn't enjoy the two years I travelled by train, but each to their own!
