I think it's all about consideration. I'd be pretty annoyed if the caravan next to us were pumping out happy hardcore at 5am when I was trying to sleep. If they were playing it at 2pm in the Friday I'd not be particularly annoyed about it because I'd be wondering why they, and myself, weren't out enjoying the festival.

I think that as another poster wrote, it's important to be considerate.

I like to listen to my own choice of music on the campsite, played at a reasonable volume which doesn't disturb the neighbours. It's annoying if you bring along music to play and it is drowned out by other people's. I don't find house or hip hop music very relaxing, so I'd rather not listen to it. Surely that's understandable.

Personally, I'd play house music 24-7 but the missus would kill me !

I don't think you have anything to worry about, security seem to keep a tight leash on any activity these days...
