How many coaches per time slot?

A friend has asked me to find this out. I note that from many locations there has traditionally only been one time slot. Does that actually mean just the one coach leaving from that location? I note there are 15,000 coach package tickets in total and going by the times over departure there has been that would equal something like 142 people per coach which seems incredibly steep. That leads me to believe that there must surely be more than one coach per time slot?

Any info would be much appreciated

I've caught coaches from Brighton and London and there has always been more than one coach at the pick up time, however you are given a coach number so you get on the one you've been allocated to.

I've only caught bus from Taunton and there has always been 3 or 4 coaches leaving at the same time. Therefore I expect that bigger departure points are likely to have considerably more. When you get sent your e-ticket it will have the coach number on it.

Someone who's been on coach confirmed approx 4 coaches from each location with 1-2 departure times

It depends on the timeslot and the location.  The only folkd who could tell you without it being pure speculation are See, and I suspect they wouldnt!
