Another silly carpark question

Hey,

I am driving to the festival this year, only ever been on the coach before. Myself and 3 friends.

We are heading down to Stonehenge on Monday night, and then travelling West to spend a night in a comfy bed before the big day!

Now, I like to camp in South Park. Looking at the map I will need to get to the Orange car parks. Is there any guarantee of getting in there, as opposed to the pink? We are staying in a village South West of Pilton.

 

I have been watching the timing posts with interest. Now even more confused and indecisive about what time to arrive!

I think they usually fill up Orange first and then Pink, so it depends what time you will be arriving. I've always arrived early on Wednesday so I can't vouch for when they start shuffling you into Pink instead.

Not necessarily - In order to keep traffic moving, at the busiest times they'll fill up multiple fields at the same time. So it's entirely realistic that someone gets directed to turn left into Pink while the person behind them is sent right into Orange.

No. As a general rule, the earlier you get there the higher your chances of getting closer to Gate D, but you'll never be able to guarantee or rely on it as there's too many variables.
