return coach times

I got my son and two friends coach tickets at Thursdays resale and without really looking I got them tickets returning at 5am on Monday morning.  Any idea what happens if they miss it ?  Can you get on any coach home that has space or is it strict booked time or nothing ?  Thanks

I asked this question elsewhere in the forum as I am in the same predicament with a coach at 4am. The general consensus is that it's a free-for-all and it doesn't actually matter what coach you're booked on. Ultimately, they just want to get everyone out of there.

So I think it'll be fine to just turn up - at least, that's what I'll be doing.

There wasn't much method to it last year. I got on the right coach but there was no one checking.

I would however consider that if lots of people decide to do the same then there could be a lot of people stranded at the festival who should've been on later coaches. I know some people find alternative ways to get home so there is definitely scope for people to pick and choose, but there must be a limit
