Hi All, I'm hopeful you can help.I am going this year with my  four year old and not sure on  best time to arrive and camp. We will have a four man tent as she is ceoliac and I'm anticipating having to take all of our food.

Any  advice or suggestions would be brilliant.

If you take a look at the map, you'll see the two family camping fields - Cockmill Meadow and Wicket Ground.

Where you're coming from would depend on which one to head for. I believe they fill up quickly so it's worth getting there as early as you can.

Also it's worth mentioning that the food at Glastonbury is incredibly varied and you should be able to find food that caters to your daughters needs.

How fussy is your daughter?  A lot of stalls will do (quite) spicy GF food, but that may not be to her liking.  A quick search brings up quite a few posts. Nearer the time, it becomes clearer who is going as food traders and you can ask them details via FB or twitter (including where onsite they'll be).  I'd suggest taking a few things as either emergencies, or to act as breakfast each day, and keep them in a lock up, such as cartons of soya milk, it's not too warm in there. Somewhere in these links are a twitter account that has info too.

Are you on your own as 2, or in a group? If alone as 2, I'd also suggest booking luggage into a lockup first, then put your tent up, then go back and get it, rather than do all that with your daughter in 1 go. Hope you have a good one.

Is Yeo Valley suitable for coeliacs? If it is then there's a Yeo Valley tent that do large tubs for £1 (may go up), which I'm sure are child friendly for breakfast/snacks :)

I know some coeliacs have trouble with dairy but some can eat it (I'm not entirely clued up so apologies if I'm wrong, just know from customers because my Dad owns a pub that does food!).

Wow some great advice!  Thank you all so much, it's just the two of us, people think I'm mad  lol.

If you camp in Cockmill or Wicket, everyone there will be families with children so you'll meet lots of like-minded people and your little one will have lots of playmates!
