Arrive on Tuesday I would say, but the first year we went we didn't arrive until very late Thursday and was the closest we have been to date (so there is a random nature I'm afraid) . You do hear of early arrivers being parked further away but I would say arriving Tuesday is more likely to be the safest bet if you want to park close
