its a warning sign with no compassion in this puzzlin' evidence for people like us. but them's the facts of life, and while i'd be in heaven if they reformed cos the memories can't wait and love seeing Byrne on electric guitar and the lady don't mind playing bass they're slippery people and this is a road to knowhere.

1998, I think it was when he last played ... and absolutely hated it. Mud mud and more mud, plus bad sound fuckups caused by the weather that ruined the fantastic raved-up version of 'I Zimbra' (see below) and Pyscho Killer.

PS: I do know, however, that booking Byrne is always in the minds of more than one person at Glastonbury - and includes Michael who's a fan.

So hopefully, next time he's touring (which has surely got to be by next summer, it's been years now) they'll book him.

As much as I'd like a reformation to happen, its one of those I can't really envisage ever happening.

Apart from the Smiths, Talking Heads are the only band I have not seen, that I would like to see.

Was going to call it a day in regards to gigs and stuff after this summer. Talking Heads would make me reassess that.
