Star Wars Birthday Party

My girlfriend and I are children's entertainers ( www.CaptainDanTastic.com ) and provide a number of different themed parties / festival performances....

We've recently branched out into Star Wars parties and are really excited about the whole thing as we've just spent WAY too much money on lightsabers from the USA

We also bought one of those Sphero BB-8 toys, however it's kind of naff and way too small, so we're trying to find some kind of robot toy that could pass for a droid....

I know there are a lot of parents / people who like gadgets and tech on here, so does anyone have any ideas?

It doesn't need to be an actual Star Wars toy, it just needs to be a robot toy that moves by itself / with a remote, and we can play sound effects over the top. It will be used for no more than five minutes, just as a segway between party games

What about the cheaper RC Controlled BB8 in Disney stores? Its pretty much beach ball sized.

 

Don't think you will get much better than for anything cheaper, or much larger

We do indeed play the Star Wars Disco album

We got the Milennium Falcon drone but it was a bit naff, so we've just stuck with the bb8 sphero which the children love
