Glastonbury: two-man Worthy View tent

I have a spare two-man pre-erected tent at Worthy View camp site as friends didn't get a ticket for the festival. The site has hot showers, security, a place to dry your hair and charge your phone, and its own bar/cafe. £225 - this is the face value.

Hi is this one of the scout tents? Also how will this work? Can you transfer  the name for the tent?

You can't transfer the name. From the website:

If I can’t go, can my friend use my tent booking, or can I get a refund?
Tent bookings are not transferable, but are refundable up to May 3rd, less a £10 admin fee per unit.

I don't understand how you could book for someone without a ticket.  Don't you need to have a ticket before you can book WV?

As long as the OP is staying in worthy view also then it will work as you name all of your guests nearer the time (based on previous years) If the OP is not staying in WV then it won't work as you can't transfer a booking, but she says 'spare tent' so fair game if anyone wants it basically.

I booked the two tents hoping my friends would get tickets and take the second. They didn't and I stupidly missed the deadline to get a refund. This is my first time at WV but friends who go every year tell me I just have to name the people for the other tent. I also have a car parking ticket to sell - again for face value (£35). I went a bit mad and covered all bases this year! If anyone is interested let me know asap please.

Closer to the time the lead booker will be emailed and given an opportunity to add the other person.
