From my experience with them, everyone seems to like Royal Blood, but nobody seems to love them. People I know who have no interest in foos went to the mk bowl shows for royal blood. Could just be I don't know anyone massively into them, although as I say everyone I know seems to like them, just not crazy about them. Fair play if people were paying Foos money to see them though. I guess they have to be to pay foos prices for a support slot
PastRecedes
I'd say Foo Fighters could be nailed on for 2018. Wouldn't have played the festival for 6 years which is more than long enough for R&L. Add BMTH, who are very possible considering recent interviews/rumours. So Foos/BMTH and then I reckon Arctic Monkeys, or if they're going for a more interesting booking Kendrick Lamar. If they get either of those trios it could be their strongest set of headliners in a few years imo.
FloorFiller
yeah Foos must be as good as nailed on, although i can't see them having both Foos and Arctics in the same year - that'd be ridiculously strong. Foos, Kendrick and BMTH would be a pretty decent trio i reckon
Gozpot
Considering how strong it'll be in 2018 I'm going for BMTH / Royal Blood / Arctic Monkeys. Thinking that 2018 might finally see Download get Foo Fighters.
thewayiam
FF at Reading in 18 vs FF at Download in 2018. ...there is only one winner there. They are a band that always chose Reading over G for the money and then chose G over Download. FF, BMTH, Kendrick
conroy17
reckon Arctics will do a big stadium tour like Etihad & stuff when they return, possibly ruling them out. Foos - BMTH & someone else getting a bump up like Tame / Kendrick / Alt J / 1975 / Royal Blood
FloorFiller
could see Arctics possibly doing IOW considering they've never done it before and have done all the other festivals several times over

You could have Arctics and Foo's then two co-headliners no bother.

Foos and Arctics are both BIG names and R/L hasn't had two that strong at the top in some time. not saying it won't/couldn't happen, but i don't see it

It was said to be Foals/FOB topping with RHCP and Roses.

dentalplan
It's utter bollocks that was disproven instantly because we had heard Foals and Disclosure were headlining as far back as October.
Gozpot
What i heard it as was that Radiohead dropped out and they booked Biffy and FoB because of that.

I heard the RH one as well, Neil mentioned that but I don't think FOB were booked because of this. Who knows what's real, doesn't probably matter either. PastRecedes
Foo Fighters, BMTH, and either Arctic Monkeys, The 1975 or Kendrick Lamar as final headliner. King Kendrick would get my vote

Andre91
The 1975, Bring Me The Horizon & Foo Fighters is my guess for now.
