Solo festival goers group!

Trying this one more time, here goes!

Hi all,

I love live music and festivals, but sadly, my friends are all into either not the same type of music as me or have turned into boring old farts! Having arranged a solo meet up that was successful in 2012 for IOW, I was wondering if anyone would be interested in doing something similar? I'm particularly interested in Y Not and Lakefest this year. But was thinking a group on here could be started for all small/medium sized festivals.

And before anyone says, you can still go to festivals by yourself and have fun/make friends, yes, you can. But it's still nice to actually meet up with/camp with others - you still have the freedom to do your own thing, but have someone to hold your beer whilst you go to the loo!

Good idea! I'm still lucky enough this year to be going with my kids but they will probably abandon me for V or some such in the near future. Was thinking about lake fest this year as its local to me but  opted for latitude instead. Hope it goes well.

im having to go to Symmetry solo this year, not convinced by this, but what else can one do when your mate drops out?!
