Mid table. As exciting a prospect as you're likely to see but lost at times earlier in the season. Doesn't turn 20 until next season so understandable. 

Chelsea were poor mind you. Sloppy and lost a lot of 50/50s. Concerning for a team going for the league.

As are Leeds. Newcastle will be ok. They only need 3 points.

Potentially as many as 5, but it's running close. Huddersfield's collapse is our relief.

Wondering if we might be better off finishing 2nd though, convince Cashley that the squad needs investment.

I said earlier, this is exactly why we needed more players in Jan. Look how crap they've been in the last 8 games while missing Clark and Gayle.

While I'm gutted we haven't won it and feel we should have done, I think Newcastle would be the first club of the last 18 relegated to gain automatic promotion if they finish 2nd.

We've had 3 players offering any real threat this season, Gayle, Ritchie and Shelvey. Gouffran has had a good season but I really hope his contract doesn't get renewed, not good enough for the Prem. Atsu's been good at times but incredibly inconsistent and I'm not sure whether we'd be able to depend on him. Diame had a good start but has done nothing in the second half of the season. Another squad overhaul of 7 or 8 in and out is needed this summer.

I agree on Gouff, not good enough but he's done well this season. I'd keep Anita on as a squad player. Diame has been woeful in my opinion, Perez has gone backwards and Mitro hasn't done enough (played well against Leeds though)

 

Oh and the faster we can get rid of Lascelles the better. How on earth he is captain is beyond me, probably our worst defender.

Neither are particularly interesting for me. It would be good to see Juve win the CL. Just because I'd like to see Buffon finally win it

Think people have just become bored of watching the 3 Spanish teams play each other in the CL over the last 5 or so years. Monaco are an exciting prospect though, great to see Falcao in good form again. I imagine a Juve Atletico final would be dull.

Me too. Really hope he does. Probably the best goalkepper of all time. Juve are very strong at the moment. Only conceded 2 goals in the competition so far and haven't conceded for 531 minutes.

Didn't know that stat above. 2 goals conceded at this stage is phenomenal. Can't see past Juve for that semi-final.

Torn on the second semi-final. I would normally prefer Atletico to win but I would love to see Bale want it in his home city. 

I'll definitely be going home to Cardiff that weekend. The city will be absolutely buzzing.
