In the era of nostalgia, it's making a lot more sense for the nostalgia acts to do stadiums and arenas on their own backs. Far higher profit, and all the fans in these terrifying times are just crying out to relive their carefree teenage days and see their favourite rock act at their local venue.
Linkin Park is a case in point. The only acts that are engaging are the ones that aren't on the Glasto roster, and arent in the commercial zeitgeist to do their own shows.
Post Malone // Central Cee
Eminem // Hosier & Chappel Roan
Bring me the Horizon // Kasabian
If it were true, it’s seems to indicate to me they were struggling to sign up 3 strong headliners. I’d find it difficult to believe they’d actively choose a comedian instead of a top music act/band
I mean, 4 points for Ipswich from Spurs and Man United is pretty good going. Given Southampton's increasingly ridiculous defending and Leicester making the face-value odd decision to sack Steve Cooper after only 12 games, maybe Ipswich might be the best bet of the 3 newboys to stay up after all.
