Personally I still see Liverpool doing it at this point. Although West Ham away next week is the fixture they could slip up at. West Ham finally have 'a game' to look fondly at their stadium with.

I can do maths well enough to know that goal difference doesn't come into it if Arsenal win their last 4 and Liverpool drop any points at all.

I'm not so confident about any of the teams to say "I can see them doing it" but I do think that as things stand Liverpool look likely to stay in there and for Arsenal to lose out - because while Liverpool might drop points, on the averages that should happen with Arsenal too.

I havent seen much evidence to suggest Spurs are going to do anything in Europe based on recent seasons.

As much as I'd like it, I can't see Arsenal winning all their last games. Arsenal haven't beaten Southampton away in the league in years, and the less said about our record at Stoke the better.

Yup. If FIFA really cared (ha!) they should have a proper look at this, in all corners of the world. Have to think that this sort of thing could be happening in China too, considering the amount of money over there at the moment.

I wonder if anything will come of the Newcastle and West Ham thing from the other week (I know that's tax though, so a different issue). What sort of punishment could they get? Would the FA or Prem have any power, or is it strictly a legal issue?

Man City has top 4 sown up, be interesting if arsenal beat stoke and Liverpool only manages draw at West Ham.

Liverpool will struggle if West Ham sit back. If Liverpool miss out now it'll be hilarious.

Arsenal play before them this weekend, so if they beat Stoke (to take them 1 point behind Liverpool on equal games played) there'll be huge amounts of pressure on Liverpool to beat West Ham. Any dropped points by Liverpool and Arsenal will most likely overtake them midweek (when they play a game in hand against Sunderland) and start the final day in the top 4 at their expense.

At least there's some excitement as we head into the final couple of weeks. Realistically Liverpool should still make it, but it'll go down to the final game (City are surely safe).

I still reckon that Liverpool will be alright, just on the basis that things rarely run smoothly-enough for enough others for too many others to go past them.

But it's going to be a close thing, and I really wouldn't be surprised if they fuck it up.
