It's gone under the radar a little but what a fantastic season for Bournemouth. Eddie Howe has taken them from -17 points in League Two to 9th in the Premier League in 6 seasons.

Your post is also factually bollocks. The minus 17 points season was 08/09 and Howe had a stint at Burnley before his return when they were in League One. 

Howe still deserves praise but let's not make things up or forget other huge reasons why Bournemouth are where they are.

United have been abysmal. The footballhthey have served up has stunk the place out. Football is about being entertained. United have had a piss poor season. The most expensive squad and wage packet in football history with the special one as manager somehow managed to finish lower than the previous season while playing Wimbledon style football.

Beating shit teams in the Europa leage does not cover that up.
