I love it! I just can't see them ditching Karma Police and Street Spirit though...

Are you guys trying to be obtuse? I'm just trying to have a debate.

Not trying to obtuse, just think it's a bad idea to massively (over)represent OK Computer. Sorry if it's coming across badly :)

I don't reckon that them playing the first five off AMSP was a great decision either but at least that's the current record.

Besides, I'd say that playing half/all of an album in the order of the CD is fan service. Playing the hits is what they'd do for the casuals and that's what we're expecting as well. So basically it'd alienate casuals and most fans wouldn't be crazy about them coming back after all these years and playing an album that they've already brought to the Pyramid twice in lieu of their favourites since.

I think this hits the nail of the head. Playing old albums in part or entirely *is* fan service, yet the kind of fans Radiohead have fancy themselves as being all progressive, so wouldn't be into it. The casuals wouldn't even notice it was happening.

Lose lose IMHO.

I wonder how Neil's getting on with the back catalogue.

Utter enlightenment or continual 'meh'?

Do you really think he'll listen to it, ever?

I had a right good sing along yesterday, as soon as I left the room it was off!

He's far too cool for Radiohead, no really.

Haha! I'm not sure any of us did!

So, will you be in different fields *that* Friday in June?!

All good, but neither 2+2=5 or There There?

That would be a shame!

Nothing stops, jparx. Nothing... or you will do the hardest time there is making Radiohead lists. No more protection from the camp site crew. I'll pull you out of that one-man tent and cast you down with the picnic blanket brigade. You'll think you've been fucked by a upper/middle-class train full of Polo fans! And the John Peel Tent? Gone... sealed off, brick-by-brick. We'll have us a little middling to cult indie band barbecue at Strummerville. They'll see the flames for miles. We'll dance around it like wild Injuns! You understand me? Catching my drift?... Or am I being obtuse?

Had a family meal tonight and drove my Grandma home, had Kid A on in the background.. she asked me who it was and I told her, she replied 'this sounds very nice'. She's alright is my Grandma, expected her to ask what this sh*t was which is what I usually get from people :P

the chances of them playing it are pretty slim i reckon, but considering they inexplicably didn't even play it in 2003 it should definitely get an airing on the Pyramid next year. fantastic song, and i was overjoyed when they played it at the Roundhouse this year

They did it in Manchester on the last tour. Its in my top 5 Radiohead tracks. Possibly top 2.

If they do 2 hours 30 and dont play it, I will be gutted*

*well as gutted as I could be, which wont be that gutted. Ill have just seen Radiohead headline Glastonbury (first world problems)
