Their boost in popularity around here is threatening to those factors tho - what's wrong with SeeTickets and Ticketmaster everyone? Yeah should stop hyping them up really. Eventim is a load of old shit!
FloorFiller
glad everybody managed to get some, especially those after standing - would've been pretty shitty if they'd all been taken in the presale. likewise in never having used Eventim before but i'll definitely be heading there for future ticket buying as for the setlists, i'm definitely hoping for a wide spread of big hitters and rarities to be played over both nights. give us Sulk lads! give us The Tourist! Subterranean Homesick Alien! Optimistic! I Might Be Wrong! Where I End and You Begin! i could go on...

TBD
Ok so I'm probably just being paranoid. But I bought one standing ticket for the tuesday in the presale. I then bought a further two standing tickets for the tuesday today, but for where they ask you for to personalise the names, for one of the names I put my gfs name. I'm just worrying that because I essentially booked tickets twice they might get funny about it? But the total tickets I booked for the night was only three? Sorry probably being incredibly thick! stylishkids
Eventim is a very good site for a few venues. Mainly any of the SMG arenas (Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle). It's the main ticket agency for these venues so it get the largest amount of tickets for shows here. Plus unlike See or Ticketmaster it's not as well known. So you end up a higher proportion of tickets available for less traffic. Win win really. They also tend to dispatch tickets pretty quickly which I like I've only once came across a 'Busy, loading page' there and that was for the Kate Bush shows. Even then I was able to get a ticket. It took an hour but a bit of perseverance paid off when other people will have likely given in. It's booking fees and delivery costs can be on the high side though so I only tend to use it for gigs at Leeds Arena and Manchester Arena. A big problem coming up though is SMG have changed their official ticket agency to Ticketmaster from 2018 which stinks. They're also working with Getmein and sellers will now be able to transfer the tickets through them so they don't even have to physically get the tickets and send them off. They just change the name and details to the new buyer before they dispatch them. Easier for touts which won't help in the future. And Ticketmaster is quite easily the worst website to buy tickets off.

I've used them before cos of the less traffic aspect for popular gigs (got pulp tickets for the one off gig piece of piss) but I do remember thinking they were more like ticketmaster prices than see. I thought you were responding to my "what is wrong with... Ticketmaster" thing. Utmost apologies. I don't recall them being bad at all though. Just normal 10% plus postage. jonodillieono
I bought 2 standing off eventim and I had to put my name down and my gf's name down for the tickets. Strange when they're only checking me going in aren't they?

T+Cs said every attendee had to be named, but if you didn't know attendee names to just put the lead booker's name for every ticket

FloorFiller
who supported Radiohead on their last arena tour? seem to recall Caribou supporting them at some point but can't remember if it was their tour or just at a festival. hoping for a decent act to make the price of the tickets hurt a little less

They had Shabazz Palaces recently in the US which would be fantastic (for those going, not me). Someone like Anna Meredith I could imagine supporting on a future tour or something, being of an orchestral and experimental background. I think you can reasonably assume it'll be some out-there electronic stuff anyway.

One of the weakest songs on The Bends, which is a brilliant album admittedly. Retired circa 2006 after a brief revival on the pre In Rainbows tour. Same goes for Blackstar but I'd welcome that one back :-) * I'd hate Bones to take up a space on the setlist in the place of a about 40 other utterly brilliant songs that they could have played instead. * The same goes for Let Down of course, now let's hope that one stays OUT of retirement... I'm making the executive decision that GF is enough for me. Aye same here. If there was a Scottish date it would be a different story but a mid-week trip down south that close to GF just isn't do-able. Enjoy folks
