Did you good folk enjoy the orchestral arrangements of Fake Plastic Trees and Motion Picture Soundtrack in this weeks episode of Westworld?

I finished Black Mirror a few days ago and they used Exit Music. Great shot, very intense with the music!

I'll watch the new Westworld tonight :)

anybody been watching Westworld? six episodes in and it's so far featured four Radiohead songs - piano versions of Karma Police, No Surprises and Fake Plastic Trees and in the latest episode an orchestral version of Motion Picture Soundtrack scores one of the big scenes. maybe i'm just noticing it more now but it seems over the past year or so their music has been used in a LOT of television shows (Peaky Blinders, Black Mirror and now Westworld)

When did they use Karma Police?! Must have missed that. I caught the others, which is weird because Karma Police is actually played on piano and should be most recognisable

Given the (as stands) large gap between their last gigs and the European tour in June/July, I can see the setlist being changed a bit - maybe less plugging of AMSP at the beginning of the set. It would be nice to see a few other songs being reintroduced, including 'Just'...

yep hoping for a bit of a mix up for the next run of shows also including hopefully either sorting out Burn the Witch or leaving it until later in the set and choosing a more instant opener, although i also fear a setlist change up could mean Let Down no longer being a (semi) staple of the encore which would be shite

Just has surely gotta come at some point on the tour. i think i remember seeing it as a song they soundchecked at some point but never got played so we could be lucky

I'm currently listening to Nude on a hideously expensive pair of Bowers and Wilkins headphones that I doubt I'll ever be able to afford. It's amazing the amount of extra stuff you notice.

Perfect choice for good headphones. Arguably my top 3 all time Radiohead tunes. I had some beasty Sennheiser's bought for me last Xmas, had a similar experience listening to Climbing Up The Walls, noticed some crazy little parts which I hadn't in previous listens!

And if we're lucky we'll get Lucky too.

Listened to this yesterday and realised/remembered just how much I love it. That guitar solo towards the end without his voice over the top makes my hairs stand up, similar with the solo in Airbag. I am praying we get both. I think I'd actually be in tears.

I was looking at recent setlist today, as good as they are, they could be a HELL of a lot better. They will pull out all the stops in June. Surely? It's not like they're in the middle of touring AMSP.

really? how do you think they could be better? i think their setlists on this tour, for the most part, have been bloody amazing. rarely been one that i haven't looked at and thought 'wow i wish i was there'. in fact i think the only one i felt disappointed about was the first one in Amsterdam - they've been great since. can't really think how they could improve to a realistic degree (i.e. not just playing all of their singles back to back)

The only way I can see them really sorting out Burn the Witch is to either do it completely differently to how they currently are, or if they do it with strings. I know we now know that's probably never going to happen, but what the heck. Imagine this

1. The Bends
2. There There
3. 15 Step
4. Daydreaming
5. Ful Stop
6. My Iron Lung
7. No Surprises
8. Identikit
9. Lotus Flower
10. Pyramid Song
11. Weird Fishes/Arpeggi
12. Reckoner
13. Burn The Witch (with strings)
14. The Numbers (with strings)
15. How To Disappear Completely (with strings)
16. Paranoid Android
17. Street Spirit (Fade Out)

18. Let Down
19. Fake Plastic Trees
20. Everything In Its Right Place
21. Idioteque
22. Bodysnatchers

23. Creep
24. Karma Police

By playing less off AMSP...

Only joking. Personal preference. They have been superb, I was understating them a bit. Some of the double encore choices have been breathtaking. Whatever the setlist, even if it's a copy of a recent one, it'll be incredible. There's always going to be ones I wish they played in place of others though!

yeah they're never gonna please everybody/play all of what we want, but i think i'd take any of this tour's setlists over the ones they were playing on their last tour no question! and fingers crossed they'll do something a bit extra special for Glastonbury

That setlist is great. Bar the odd swap here and there for personal taste the only change I'd make is Daydreaming at number 4. Breaks a great run of uptempo songs that get things off to a cracking start. Whack The National Anthem in there!

Or Myxomatosis?

Was amazing at the Roundhouse (and we got TNA too, so I could compare!).

That setlist is great, though having been denied it in May, I still won't be happy without 2+2=5...

Currently listening: Hail To the Thief

Still has too much filler. It has some one of the best RH tracks on it, but also some of the most forgettable.

Punchup is massively underrated though!
