The more I listen to 'A Moon Shaped Pool' the more sublime I find it. Yep, it's sublime.

The more I try my best to like it even a little bit, the more I realise how distinctly below average it is. Hope some of it comes across great live which I'm sure some tunes will. But shit me. It's terrible, in my opinion.

If you aren't a fan of Burn The Witch on record then you sure as shit ain't gonna enjoy it live....

It's well up there.

With about 30 others.

But yeah. Thinking it may get binned for Ful Stop at the farm though. Hopefully not and we get both. And The National Anthem.

no way is Idioteque getting dropped. Ful Stop may be the recent equivalent but it doesn't come close imo

may be an unpopular opinion (or maybe not?) but if i were to see any Kid A song dropped it'd be EIIRP, especially in favour of The National Anthem/HTDC/Optimistic (didn't include Idioteque as that's just a given)

Really? That was one of the two or three I was hoping would come across well :/

Oh well. I'm not complaining. Their setlist will be incredible and (shocking new album aside), I'm looking forward to this as much as any gig ever :D

I'll give you HTDC and Optimistic as they've played EIIRP, Idioteque and The National Anthem every time I've seen them. I'd give anything to hear HTDC though. Like, they could play My Cherona for the whole main set then just encore with HTDC and it'll be enough for me.

I may suddenly have something in my eye if they play HTDC...

It's like rolling a dice with me - can be a random song that I'm not that arsed about that catches me unawares and makes me all emosh.  HTDC is probably the most likely.  2006 Videotape would be in with a shout.

HTTT has always been in the lower region of my list and rarely listened to but I can't think exactly why.  The recent love on here for it has made me put it on my ipod for a revisit.

I guess it's quite subjective. I'd say Videotape is one but nobody seems to like that much 'round here.

Certainly wouldn't get any tears out of me with Fake Plastic Trees. Maybe one or two after when I think about the songs they didn't play to incorporate that.

Yeah I agree on both points actually but especially the latter, there's a good 5 or 6 off The Bends alone I'd take ahead of it never mind from across the other albums.

I'm with you on Videotape. Always puts a lump in my throat.

Mind you, I'd probably blub at 'Trees and all...

What song is the biggest tear-jerker? How To Dissappear Completely / True Love Waits / Fake Plastic Trees?? Bullet Proof probably in with a shout too.

The only that got me most live was probably Nude, bloody beautiful that was. On record it's probably Motion Picture Soundtrack for me though. I will see you in the next life and all that.
