I think if we start leaving out KP & Creep the setlists will get hugely more interesting.

You're right and as much as I'd love those songs I also wouldn't particularly miss them if they replaced them with something else. Can't imagine they'd not play at least one of the two though - they were constantly being played at last years festival shows.

Replace There There with 2+2=5 and we're bang on there.

Hope they keep The Gloaming out.

Street Spirit will close the set. It's just a fact

Yeah you may be right. Tbh the Karma Police sing along leading in to the second encore would be pretty sweet also, and much like their Park set in 2010 I'm sure it'll pick right back up after they've finished (or at least I'll do my best to make it so!)

The Tourist! Enough to make me overlook the glaring HTTT ommisions (just this once, mind). And I've always got time for Climbing Up the Walls.

Daydreaming first could work I guess... But following it up with Desert Island disk is bizarre. Bodysnatchers closer though - oh aye!

If Daydreaming is the new opener, it has to be followed by a grade A banger. It could work in that context, but it would have to be something like Just, The Bends, Airbag, There There etc.

Even though it's not a very Radiohead thing to do I think they'll open with a OC track. Probably Airbag or Lucky. I'd like to see Daydreaming a lot further down the setlist. I think the first song of the encore would work well.

I can't see that at all. 1997 Lucky, 2003 There There, 2017 AMSP tune.

Stones at IOW is a textbook example of losing a crowd by not delivering what they want to hear on the setlist front.  They pulled it round again by the end, but delivering this when folk were wanting to hear Gimme Shelter and Paint It, Black shows how easy it is to drop a clanker.

  1. Start Me Up
  2. Play Video Love in Vain (Robert Johnson cover) (with Paolo Nutini)
  3. Can't You Hear Me Knocking
  4. Tumbling Dice
  5. Wanna Hold You (Keith Richards on lead vocals)
  6. Slipping Away  (Keith Richards on lead vocals)

I'm not too impressed with that set list and it would go down like a lead ballon on the pyramid. Not nearly enough bangers. They might get away with daydreaming first but only if it's followed by Creep or some other banger that everyone knows.

I've seen your appreciation for the greatest song of all time and I would prefer it if you didn't get expectations up, especially for them playing it at a non glasto sho.

thanks

Seeing as it hasn't been played since the South Park, Oxford gig back in 2001 I don't think anyone will be getting overexcited for it's inclusion...
