Serious question:

Why have I seen it on here that calling Weird Fishes/Arpeggi  Weird Fishes instead of Arpeggi is wrong?

It was originally called Arpeggi when it first surfaced as a song, and played live in 2006. Name change to Weird Fishes / Arpeggi only happened on the release of In Rainbows. I think. Similarly Jigsaw was called "Open Pick" on the setlists for that tour.

Great set list if you're seeing them a few times this tour, not so great if you're only seeing them once. Probably know they're gonna be playing all the "hits" these next two weekends at Coachella so having a night off them.

I definitely think that's the case. They're probably using the arena shows to bring out some oldies and to try and not get burnt out playing the big hits.

Spinning Plates for Glastonbury though B)

I'm in two minds about Radiohead at the moment.  As someone who lost touch with them completely post-OKC the vast majority of their setlist doesn't "mean" a huge amount to me, and although I've been listening to the rest of their albums since they were announced I probably still won't recognise a huge chunk of what they play.

But, I also know that it's realistically the only time I'll see them, and I just get the feeling that it's going to be a hell of an experience even if I'm not singing along.

Thoughts of more experienced Radioheadphiles? Am I going to stand there lost and not getting it, or should I just spark a fat one and lose myself in it?

Sadly I think this setlist shows just how unlikely LSP is for Glastonbury. I just hope beyond hope that Let Down and HTDC survive for Coachella 1 or I could be in trouble there with Glasto.... thank god Manchester can (hopefully) have all the best stuff if they just go with the "hits" on the farm.

It depends how their festival set lists look, so Coachella will give us the best indication of how Glastonbury might shape up. For the Glastonbury set to go down well we really need the majority of these to be included (which is no longer as much of a given based on the recent dates);

Creep. Street Spirit. Paranoid Android. Karma Police. EIIRP. Pyramid Song. There, There. Weird Fishes/Arpeggi. Reckoner. Burn The Witch.

Now, that's far from a list of my favourite Radiohead tracks, but it's what they'll need to pull out the bag.

I'll be stunned if Coachella 1 doesn't include most if not all of those songs. The festival setlists and the arena setlists are going to be two very different things on this tour i reckon.

One thing occurs, presumably these arenas will have a proportion of more casual fans, albeit less than at a festival - it seems a bold move to completely disregard the crowd pleasers.

Aye if my one Radiohead show (that I've paid £80 for) focused mostly on lesser played tracks and deep(er) cuts I'd be a little pissed. Even as a huge fan I'd want at least one/two of those bigger songs to make an outing. I think that setlist is ace (minus the influx of TKOL tracks), but there's barely a single/hit in there (in fact I think Nude and Lotus Flower are the only two songs that were released outside of their respective albums and could in any way be considered singles).

Ooooh Optimistic. Abso-bloody-lutely! Good to see National Anthem, EIIRP AND HTDC last night too...

Soundchecked it twice but didn't even play it  bastards. Got a feeling it's gonna get brought out for Coachella for sure - I believe it was played all over the radio there when Kid A was released but had no single attached to it.

What are the odds of getting the following

Just - hard to say. not played yet on the tour, but glasto could be the place for it

Bodysnatchers - 7/10

Identikit - 9/10

Weird Fishes - 8/10

There There 7/10

Idioteque - 9/10

Knives Out - 2/10

Paranoid Android - 9/10

Those are what I want in the setlist

I don't think anything is a 10/10 odds on certainty anymore.

Reckon we'll get all of those apart from Just (which could pop up but it hasn't yet) and Knives Out (probably zero chance).

I guess I should take those odds.

Now if you can get them to play them all in a row, (either at the start or end I'm not fussy) so I can turn up just for them, I'd be grateful.  Cheers.

Seems odd to me that you love all those songs but have no interest in the rest of their set...
