I was just listening to Nude on my lunch break. Y'all mad for not being on the Nude Train. That song is a masterpiece. You could argue it's Jonny, Colin and Thom's finest moment all in one song.

I made a setlist to convince my Girlfriend and Brother to go to see Radiohead (which I think they would anyway) and that was one of the songs they both highlighted as something they are looking forward to hearing.

So Radiohead have finished up touring now until June, based on the last month and a bit's sets it's looking worrying for the likes of Let Down and Reckoner, here's a set they could do at Glastonbury, based on all the sets they've been doing this year.

I agree. If they played that set at Glasto they would steal it back in the encore but there would be some areas of 20/30mins that would lose a lot..

I think they know that no-one wants bloom and the gloaming in one set and it's pretty dickish to inflict that on a paying crowd.

Just listened to Thom butchering Fake Plastic Trees at Coachella. Appreciate it was a video from a phone but it's still sounded grim. I doubt that I'll be fussed too much if it's played on the Pyramid and he'll be carried by crowd no doubt, but for me his voice is shot. Brownesque!!

Does that really matter though? I imagine most of us will be down the front, and all of the die hard Radiohead fans (I imagine there will be a fair few at Glastonbury) will know what to expect and stick out the opening. If all the casual Creep shouters bugger off then surely that's good news? 

Also, Ful Stop is hardly a dreary tune!

It doesnt matter a jot really you're quite right, but their last 2 glastonbury gigs have been perfect and I really want this one to be remembered in the same way.

Every time I have seen RH they have played Creep, which is lucky as it's the only song of thiers I really like ! Hoping not to be dragged to see them by my best mate as a "Creep omen" ! Especially if it looks like they are just going to play all their depressing go and take your own life shit !

That would be very lovely and what most people what.  But people aren't allowed what they want and must suffer at least one of bloom and the gloaming, and both if the band are feeling particularly vindictive.

It looks that way but I'm not 100% sure. Last year they were doing the five song opening bit and trimmed it at some of the later festivals. Hopefully with a month off they'll reassess and change the opening.. Daydreaming seems pretty nailed on as an opener mind, which is a shame as I'm not sure it will work as an opener in the light.

That said, last time they did a big UK festival that was being televised was Reading and they mixed it up that night opening with a 'hit'.

I think we sometimes overplay how 'special' Glastonbury is to artists who tend to see it as just another gig, but with Radiohead it genuinely is a big thing they seem to 'get'. Hopefully they get it right,
