Radiohead Headlining 2017

yeah I'm with haha. Sure you never wear the t-shirt of a band playing that day?  At a push you can wear the t-shirt of the band on a day they aren't playing, ideally a day or two before rather than the days afterwards.  On the day even wearing a cool band t-shirt from 20 years ago is too lame.

Also, never wear this year's festival t-shirt.  You should never wear them ever, but if you must, they should be at least 5 years old and be from a better festival. Or if you are already at the best festival, then somewhere else cool like Fuji or somewhere.

I know none of this actually matters but...This is way too strict! The whole reason why people say you shouldn't wear a bands T shirt to their own gig is because it's obvious you like that band because you're at their gig already. But this isn't the case for a festival - if you're seeing a fairly obscure band at 12 on the Park Stage it's fair to wear that shirt around the festival, it's good to support them and it won't be immediately obvious you're a fan of that band, even by virtue of being at the Park Stage gig.

You could argue it about the headliner true - they're headlining that day, will have loads of fans and if you're there at the Pyramid show chances are you're a fan too.

Ok, I accept the rule is too strict for smaller bands on earlier in the day,

Jesus, having rules on t shirts man. If your mocking people for their garb then says more about the person mocking than vice versa. Wanna wear a Radiohead t to a radiohead gig, then do it. Who really gives a fuck?

Stop being so grumpy and lighten up a little. Have you not heard of people just being silly and playful?

You're going to Glastonbury in 4 weeks (I presume). There should be nothing but joy in your heart.

:)

Nehhhh disagree. My Radiohead t-shirt is a very rare one and I love it, I wear it regardless of if they're playing, but I will be wearing it on the Friday!

Might even stick some sellotape on my eye lid and pull it down a bit.

My plan (hopefully) is to watch all of the FLips, then make it to The xx for the last few songs. If I can be there for Loud Places and Angels I'll be happy.

I'm similar, but want to catch most of XX so will have to pull away from Flips early - which is likely not to happen now I've just written it down....
