Nigel confirms that The Smile album is in the pipeline, previously it had only been speculated due to content being removed on youtube. https://www.nme.com/news/music/radiohead-side-project-the-smile-have-completed-an-album-3001745

If it isn't a rock record it must lean fairly heavily on the electronic side. Had a listen to set last night, it really was good.

Not a rock record?! But the Glastonbury set rocked the fuck out! Was really hoping that was gonna translate to the album but I guess it was just reworked for a live setting. Good news about an album anyway, and hopefully we get some tour dates (but then they immediately get cracking on with the new RH album).
