You tempted to do it as a news story or has the coldplay story still made you want to avoid that

talked it thru with scottie yesterday, and he reckoned he didn't really have anything extra to say than he'd already written on Monday around Ed on the radio, when he'd said we were pretty sure it was RH.

Neil - any other headliner info apart from RH for Pyramid or Other?

the roses, and daft punk.

The roses one is from one of the proven RH sources so it very likely to be correct, and the DP one is from another source entirely and as time goes by I have less belief in it tho I have nothing else to really consider.

Roses would be amazing. Was there in 95 when they had to pull out and their Ethiad show last summer was superb. Seeing them at Wembley the weekend before so if its not them then not the end of the world but if it is then mega bonus! Daft Punk would be good also, you'd imagine a fair few special guests on stage.

This just gets better. Nailed. On.

This has nowhere near enough drama for Radiohead and Glastonbury. Surely something is going to go awry at some point?

I know.  After last year's (technically still this year's, but you know what I mean) shenanigans, I'm starting to get suspicious.

We're at the point where I'll still be suspicious even when there's and official announcement.

As many on here have said, unless something crazy like Led Zeppelin were announced I don't think any artist announcement would affect the resale chances much. At the end of the day it would be a bloody expensive way of seeing Radiohead, unless you actually wanted to go to Glastonbury in the first place.

at the roundhouse gig i was surprised at how many people in their late teens/early 20's were there, singing along to every word of no surprises. an incredibly diverse crowd.

and also, I don't think video gets enough love - maybe because its not on youtube:

LISTEN to that.

Goosebumps in a stuffy office (the name of my second album incidentally)

Thats not how that works but.

There are plenty of people who are Glastonbury fans and Radiohead fans who may have pulled back from the festival over the years (for one reason or another) and who would love to see Radiohead headline it.

An announcement of a band such as Radiohead can push those who "cant be too arsed this year" to "Im defo going to try for tickets in the resale. Radiohead on the Pyramid stage would be wonderful"

It is unusual for any act to have so much certainty around them headlining this early on isn't it? Let alone one with so much secrecy around them and such a closed circle as Radiohead. Just wish I had a ticket so I could get really excited about this, but one way or another...

I know there are numerous reasons why they wouldn't, but it makes me wonder if Glastonbury is getting announced with their tour dates, and those dates are coming imminently. Might explain why so many seem to know they are playing since I would imagine a number of different people will be involved in putting together the tour dates.

Guys I made this video last year.

I DIDNT GET A TICKET THIS YEAR. Honestly think you need either 4g or some super nice internet. I live in Berlin so have none of that! First year not getting one since 2011!

if anyone can help me in the resale i will reward you!!!

You are the people who understand how much it means!

I don't think the speed of your Internet matters, really. It all depends on what exact fraction of a second you hit refresh as to whether you get let in, from my understanding.

unusual perhaps, but not exceptional I would say. It's normally the case that at least one act that happens is firmly fixed in people's minds by around now.

It seemed people with Virgin Media had good luck as well as 4g.
