Radiohead Headlining 2017

Last year we were pretty much sorted by now..  or so it seemed.

No real uncertainty. Seemed like we knew the 3 headliners straight away

Nah, it's honestly all down to luck. Managed to get through on my mac on Thursday. On Sunday (I was trying for my sister and her boyfriend) all I got was a white screen for 50mins. On the same laptop.

I know everyone says it doesnt matter who the headliners are... And they're right. But this is Radiohead.

Ecstatic that Radiohead have been changed to TBC.

If DP were listed the same for Friday night it'd be the first time I've seen more than one headliner on the Pyramid.

Can't argue with that quality!

Neil, given that you're hardly enthusiastic on Radiohead, do you think you think there's a high chance you'll be seeing them on the Pyramid? Just to see what all our fuss has been about?

Going to end up watching Radiohead and being excited for it becuase everybody on here and loads of people IRL have tricked me into believing they're great, even though the best I can say about them is that Kid A is quite good.

That said, I do remember enjoying their Leeds 09 headline show a lot more than I've enjoyed any of their recorded stuff. I'm bringing an ample supply of tequila with me though.

I wonder if there'll be any pyrotechnics like all the Glasto headliners seem to have these days. I wasn't at any of the headline shows last festival but the ones I've been to these last few years have usually had some form of them. But then I can't see Radiohead being big on them either....

Did they have fireworks in 2003, or were those fireworks part of something else but just exceptionally well timed?

I want giant confetti cannons going off when Thom sings 'you'll go to hell for what your dirty mind is thinking'.

And don't forget the light up wristbands!

I'm sure when they played fake plastic trees in 2003 they had some kind of effects when the song kicks in half way through. It was bloody brill I can tell you

2003 was the last year before I started going. Which makes not getting tickets all the more galling

I think fireworks when the end solo starts in Paranoid Android would be great. Or when the final breakdown starts in Idioteque.

I can empathise, just substitute Leeds 09 for Glastonbury 11.  I just had In Rainbows on while cooking tea and, well, it's a bit Radioheady.

Compare that to 1997, looks like a lifetime ago! Shame he can't sing like this anymore. I hope they do this song next year then we can compare all 3

I can't believe even now there's 16 members on this thread right now when the TBC went up a couple of days ago. Many forums don't usually have this many active members at any one time.
