Thanks for the answers all three of you, the main question was whether or not I could pay cash so if it is vouchers only I'll buy them now to get the cheapest possible prices.

One voucher per beer is very reasonable, even if it's not pints as someone mentioned yesterday, and the recycling point is definitely worth knowing about!

Ill have a think regarding the amount of vouchers I want but it sounds like it will be quite reasonable! Are they physical vouchers or do you get a card loaded up with them? (The more pieces of paper worth money I have the more likely they are to get misplaced )

If you buy a x quantity of vouchers online you'll have a piece of paper with a bar code that you'll exchange at the voucher points at the festival (possibly a little queue) or at the Hive Camping (never found a queue).

edit: sorry I didn't answer. No cards, pieces of paper.

Thank you, I'll keep that in mind!

Now that I analyzed the main square announcement I would say that it wouldn't have been a big announcement even for a festival in my country. Most of the acts are unknown or lesser known for us. But I would like to add that I think there's a very limited amount of bands/acts that would sell tickets very well here.

For example, the temper trap will play in a club next month and I really doubt they will sell out. Also, we have random big acts... for example, two songs from jamie woon and the cat empire that were not even singles were huge hits and akua naru comes on a yearly basis here and sells out... I think every country is different...I guess it's very hard to please the ticket buyers when you aim internationally.

Anyway, from the acts I didn't knew already I think I like don broco the most. :-D

The Killers added another Scandinavian festival date during RW weekend.  Looks less and less likely with each announcement but still a possibility.

Thursday in Finland, Saturday in Sweden. So only the sub position before FF on Sunday still possible. But indeed, getting less likely...

Frank Turner is supporting Blink on their UK tour. Let's hope he sticks with them for festivals as well!

This please! Already going to the Liverpool show (and probably the Glasgow show too now) but always room in my life for more Frank.

I'd say that increases our chances for The Killers on Sunday as they're not playing Roskilde. Alt-J in the Barn, the XX at PKP, the Weeknd as far away as possible & the Killers as co-head.

Sounds great to me :)

Do roskilde tend to difference themselves from the scandinavian festivals in the same week? I don't understand why the killers would be ruled out there...

It would be  great but it means no major pop headliner/sub... which is against the trend of basically all major festivals

1. Roskilde ends on Saturday

2. The Killers play Tinderbox Festival in Denmark June 22th already :)

Thank you, completely forgot they even had a concert in europe a week earlier. I guess this Friday we should expect either Biffy for Thursday or whetever sub act we have for Sunday leading the pack

I don't think we'll get Biffy Clyro before mid-February, as they still have a club show to sell out. For that same reason I doubt they'll lead a pack, not exactly impressive to struggle selling out a club venue that Kaleo and Rag 'n' Bone man sold out instantly.

Kaleo must surely be in the next batch after that Main Square announcement and their Brussels show tonight. I'm actually expecting a KluB C headliner (read: dance act) to lead the next batch, as we don't seem to have any of those yet. I'd imagine the Sunday sub to get a separate announcement, since the subs for the other days did as well.

Isin't the Kaleo show tomorrow?

If we consider the pop/rock/electro music diffused by the belgian radio's (Pure fm/Studio Brussel/Q-music...) I think we can focus on some bands : Kaleo, Rag'n'Bone Man, Twenty One Pilots, Compact Disk Dummies, School is Cool, Selah Sue, Kungs, Tsar-B, Bazart, Konoba, Lemaitre, Dotan, Ofenbach, Cassius, DJ Snake, The Weeknd, Ed Sheeran, Netsky, The XX, Daughter, Clean Bandit, Lost Frequencies, Nathaniel Rateliff, Ozark Henry, Henry PFR, James Arthur, Machine Gun Kelly, The Chainsmockers, Emeli Sandé, The Strumbellas, Zara Larsson, Florence + the Machine, Major Lazer, Bastille, Frances, and more...

In my opinion these bands will be present at Werchter : Kaleo, Rag'n'Bone Man (Barn), Twenty One Pilots (I hope), Compact Disk Dummies (Club C), Kungs (Club C), Tsar-B (Club C), Bazart (Barn), Dj Snake (Club C), Ed Sheeran, Netsky (Thursday dance act), Machine Gun Kelly (Barn or Club C), Nathaniel Rateliff (Barn), Emeli Sandé (Club C), The Strumbellas (Barn), Zara Larsson (Club C), Major Lazer, Bastille and Frances (Barn). I hope to see The XX and the Killers too but that seems very complicated.
