Hi all,

Weather is getting warmer which is only a positive thing right?

@lucyginger what have you decided for your 40th??

I wish I was more able to me a 'normal' women, but heck, I go for tshirt, shorts and jeans for the festival. I'm a simple women, why over complicate life with clothing choices?

I would love to have less variation in shoes and clothes!! I could wear shoes or trainers, jeans or trousers, tshirt or shirt. Job done! Instead we have posh frock, casual frock, in the middle frock, long/short/mid skirt and top, tight/baggy/bootcut trousers and top. Life would be so much easier being a bloke!

Ive seen Teleman before, sure it was Kendal Calling last year. @thurlow84 am I right? Hi by the way!! Hope you're keeping well dude.

I must be a strange woman (ok, I know all evidence already points to this),  I just wear jeans/trousers and shirts almost all the time, even when seeing clients. I have one posh frock for other occasions.  If I ever bothered to apply for jobs it would be a problem finding something to wear for an interview.

Warmish and soggy here.  Weather's mild and damp too...

Hello all,

It'll sound perverted, but it's not, but I love looking at women's fashion and often feel a little deprived at not being able to take advantage of the range of choice. On the odd occasion that I've gone in to Jigsaw, I've nearly wet myself with excitement at the 'beautiful' things that they have. My wife used to dress like a bloke when I met her. She said that she'd given up on that sort of thing. Then I bought her a load of stuff as presents and she really liked the stuff and said that I'd made her feel feminine again. Now she has a whole shop of outfits to choose from. One day she'll wear a ball gown to work, another day will see her wearing a military outfit etc. I just wear any old stuff nowadays. I used to care about what I wore but fortunately no longer.

As far as life goes, it's been a shitty few days. My wife decided to open the shop on Sunday and a 'team' of thieves came in and nicked a load of stuff. They came in when another shopper was in with her two sons and used distraction techniques etc. By the time my wife was on to their game they smiled back at her and said they were leaving as there was nothing that they wanted. Then she started noticing the missing stuff. I'l going to get a 'smile your on camera' sticker and possibly a few dummy cameras when I can get the funds together. I actually know someone in the cctv game so may ask him if he has any old cameras that he wouldn't otherwise use.

Anyway, hope everybody is happy and well. Just starting to get there again this end.

Yogurt you would love our glastonbury girls Facebook group haha

I very possibly would Krazypinkminx. Although, apart from it being for ladies only, I'm also very inept at Facebook. I just can't seem to get my head around it. However, that's probably because I don't really access it that much.

Ah man that sucks Yog :(

Yeah, it's not good Quark. It's such a shame because the woman and her two children that were already in the shop were super excited about the place and bought too. Not only that, but my wife is too trusting and she's having that trust knocked out of her, which is sad.

Sorry that shit keeps happening to you and Mrs Yog.  Don't  become a cynical old git - there are far more lovely people out there than the sort of arseholes who nicked your stuff.

Warm hugs to you both.

Neither of us likes the cynical life so suspect we'll be right as rain again within no time. Thanks for your kind words.

Yog I'm really sorry to hear this, there are some really horrible people in the world. Just wish they'd stop targeting your wife's shop! Warm hugs from me too xxx

Cheers lucy.

Dreary day here weather wise. I've promised to clear up the back  garden today, which has morphed in to something akin to Steptoe & Son's yard. It would be true to say that I simply don't know where to start.

Hope everybody is well.

Yog it does not sound perverted at all! Behave yourself!! Society 'back then' was funny about blokes wearing women's clothes but 'most' people don't bad an eye these days... have you ever wanted to wear these beautiful items? Maybe because I can, I'm not really all that interested. Maybe because society expects females to wear pretty clothes/pastel colours/high heels etc is why I really don't want to! I'd be rather happy living in Pyjamas if I'm honest. I do have some really nice sets, as well as fleecy tartan comfy ones!

Anyways... on to the shop, that is awful. You've had a few incidents now and it must be knocking your wife's confidence/trusting nature a bit, which is really sad. Nearly every shop I go in has a cardboard cutout of a policeman, and I know I don't do anything wrong, but I always feel him looking directly at me, even when the shop is full of other people. You could dress your up!! But I'd definitely say get some dummy cameras. Or even some real life working ones then you could put stills of the lowlife/s onto the shop fb page?

Ok so you've got me writing essays now Yog. Much love to you n Mrs Yog x

That's such a shitter Yog, I'd be raging about it, but I suppose you have to let it go or it will eat you up inside.

Bit cloudy down here in Brighton, but keeping myself amused on the announcements thread!

You do have to let it go. At least they didn't take a major amount of stuff like the last time.

I have never harboured a secret desire to wear well designed womans clothes - or badly designed ones for that matter. I really just don't get that kind of stuff, but don't mind it's existence for some. I think I just like good design and tailoring.

Your cardboard policeman reminded of an art exhibition that I went to one lunchtime from work. At the entrance door to the gallery was a security guards outfit which did up with velcro. This mean that anybody could put it on over their existing clothing, and pretend to be a security guard. If I could go back in time I'd have put that security guards outfit on and pretended to be a member of the security personnel of the gallery. I could have followed people around and continued to look at them suspiciously until I could take it no longer and had to tell them it was all part of the installation. I didn't do it at the time because I bottled it.
