Sounds like a good plan. Home grown French beans are heaven.

Happy to hear that work has been fun. It so often isn't. Up until about an hour or two ago I had a day that started well and then rapidly descended in to a complete bastard. I'm not going to go in to it in detail because it was murder the first time around. I will say that it involved me driving around a major chunk of Birmingham for hours, not always in the right direction. Anyway, it was horrendous, but when I got home I was met with three different suppliers amounts of weed. I've had a joint from all three suppliers now and all is well with the world.

On top of the above we have received a much more interesting offer on the sale of the house, which is pleasing. Hope everybody is in fine form.

It's the first time I've tried to grow properly for a few years, so the plan is to keep it relatively simple. As it's as much about the enjoyment of growing as anything else, it'll probably be a variety.  Not after becoming self sufficient in one or two crops!

Hello Quark. Thanks for the response. It started yesterday but hasn't stopped. I've turned the computer off and on a few times, to no avail. From what you say it looks like the keyboard may be fucked. I've just remembered that I've got another separate keyboard that I can try to use. Why didn't I think of this yesterday? I'm definitely going more senile, I think. Mind you, most of last night and this morning has been lived in a haze of dope, so maybe that's a reason.

It would certainly explain it Yog.  I remember in 2015 when I picked up my WaterAid canteen from one of the kiosks I came up with the great idea of looping my belt through the handle on the lid so I wouldn't lose it. Unfortunately this was also the year when the weed I'd picked up for the fest was stupidly strong.

It was only after I'd spent the entire morning undoing my belt every time I wanted a drink so I could remove the canteen that one of my friends finally relented and pointed out that it would be much easier just to unscrew the bottle and leave the lid attached to my belt.

After digesting this information I recall calmly pulling my tin out of my pocket and screaming "WHY MUST YOU MAKE ME STUPID?!" at it. Before sparking another one, obviously :)

To be fair, that sounds like the sort of thing I'd do, even without drugs! :D

That's a great story Quark. There's nothing like a bit of strong dope to bring out the inner slapstick comedian in oneself. I've lost count of the number of mind bogglingly stupid performances I've put in over the years!

Not sure how to undo that. But you can copy using ctrl and c if you need to copy something?
