Well then, you and I shall provide some entertainment Saturday, Yog!

I'm going for buffoonery. I can feel it coming on. For once in my life I'm going to stop fighting it, and celebrate the real me. In to this mix I would like to add that, hopefully, I'll also be occasionally 'speaking in tongues' when this takes place owing to a hearty drink being had. I may even propose the toast that one of my uncles used to say - "May the hinges of friendship never seize up for the want of a drop of lubrication". He would then down his drink in a one'er.  Yes, that seems fitting for a birthday celebration.

Evening all. Off work today with a cold, been knocked sideways, but managed to sleep in the day which has sorted me out. I reckon one more day off and I will be able to face the office again. My office is aggressively air conditioned, so as soon as one person has a cold, the whole office tends to go down.

Efests is cheering me up and we're ordering a cheeky mid-week takeaway for dinner. Naughty, but going for healthy-ish option. Food is good for the soul, especially when you're full of cold!

On each other? What kind of weird shit are they putting in to that air conditioning system? And, do you think you could nick me some of it from the cleaners cupboard?

Enjoy your takeaway Skoo. They can indeed be just the ticket. :)

Off skiing next week so good to get off the hamster treadmill for a week and down tools for some mountain air.

I should be packing but procrastinaton on here for half an hour before I face it !

Hi Skoo, off to the grand massif region of France, so skiing out of samoens , Morrillon, Flaine etc. despite having skied 5 or 6 times I've never skied whilst it's been snowing / in low light, it's always been bright sunshine ( how lucky ) - all that is set to change as they had a dumping of snow yesterday and today and more forecast for all day Saturday, Sunday and Monday .... Slightly nervous as its like a whole new experience  .... Very excited at the same time :-)

Enjoy your skiing trip Funkyfairy. I went snow boarding in Morzine once. It was a lovely experience. One which nearly saw me shoot off the edge of a cliff on my first day of ever being snow boarding on snow before.

I'm guessing the Ed Sheeran album?

I've given it a go a few times and it just doesn't do anything for me.  No strong feelings about the Sheeran either way and wouldn't call it bad, but just does nothing to hold my attention.

I wait with bated breath to see what else the Sunday night slot could hold on the farm!

Ed Sheeran is OK background music, the stuff that doesn't make you want to rip speakers off the wall but equally, your not going to rush to buy anything buy him. I'll likely give divide a listen on Spotify. Listening to the radio in the car means that you pick up his lyrics pretty easily. I'm hoping for something else on the Sunday!

Nope.  That's all we're getting.  Eddie-poos on the Pyramid and a televised performance on the other stages.  Sheeran as far as the eye can see.

Hoorah for buffoonery!! We should definitely not fight it! We shall embrace the buffoonery!

Excellent saying from your uncle. Hear, hear! :)
