I haven't looked back far enough to fully know what this is about. However, I would ask if that 'waterfall' is next to the foundations of your property or the foul or water drainage system from it? Or is that actually the foul water / drainage system that I see before my eyes?

Worry not my dear Yog. If there's one thing that's happened over the past few months, its surveys. Lots and lots of fucking surveys. So waterfall is probably gonna to be turned into a water feature in the future. 

Shame we cant harness the water or energy.

I shall worry not, as instructed. 

It's not an area that I'm familiar with but I did observe on the Scottish island of Eigg that the locals were using water flow based pumps to generate 'free' energy on what weren't very rapid natural springs of water. Might be worth looking in to.

I've never been to the Lakes - to fix this, we're going camping there over the Easter weekend, get in some walks and possibly a kayak around Lake Windermere. Gives me chance to check the tent over before Glastonbury rather than just making sure it's OK in the tiny garden we have.

Oh we live right beside Windermere so be sure to give us a holler for mini NFR meet. Which really should involve gin.

Really, really want to get back to the Lakes!  Not going to happen this year for cash reasons, but reckon we can push for it next year.  Last time we went we ended up huddled in a sheepfold on top of one of the fells, just sheltered from horizontal r**n with a flask of tea and a sandwich.  About as happy as I get

I don't think I can do it. I'm just having a mini midlife crisis! My job is actually ok, I can't really complain. Could just do with winning a few grand for a big holiday and I'd be ok!! Haha!
