Fair point.

On the plus side, at least when I get to 68 I won't be harbouring disappointment that nobody   wants to see my willy.

I won't have that problem either...

Loved reading about the weekend of glorious weirdness and spiky suppositories.  Only weird thing that happened to me was going round to my mate's house for an evening of prosecco and gossip with friends all in their 40s and 50s,  mentioning the Furry Freak Brothers and being met with baffled silence.

I was once given money by a homeless guy at Oxford Circus tube station,  but I may have mentioned that before.  Have a lovely week wonderful peeps.

Evening all :)

I've spent the day gardening for the in-laws. At the same time, listening to a few old albums by bands that are either playing glasto, or are rumoured. In between, I have completed my pre-application for Oxfam, in the hope of getting a stewarding place at Beautiful Days in August. Fingers crossed! :)

Lots of my friends go to Beautiful Days, I might get there one year! Good luck!

Crikey this losing an hour business is hurting today. As am I from the Dreadzone gig saturday night! I'm going to see Olly Murs tomorrow so will be on my feet for most of the afternoon/evening then too! Phew! I really should do more regular exercise, then I wouldnt hurt quite so much!

Isn't 68 when doddery old men start to show their willy?

It just shows you have a nice mix of friends from many levels of culture.  But yes, some connection is good, too often people are wondering what I'm talking about too.  But that could be me.

Thanks! :)

Info I've read suggests its not one that gets filled up very quickly, but I'll be getting my application in as soon as they open, just in case. Looks like a good lineup, and it's only half an hour away by train for me. Looking forward to trying something smaller than glasto, too.

The Sisters of Mercy are playing!!!!! I really want to see them! Yes I've only ever heard good things about it, sounds like a lovely festival.

Bright day in Leeds, went to see Traams (is that a Somerset mode of transport?) and Car Seat Headrest last night and my ears are still ringing.

I will never be in this position again - I'm leaving work on Friday and still trying to get stuff done yet my boss is apologising for passing work on.

Well, read that as 'working, yet posting'.

NFRNFC y'all.

Out of all of that, I wondered about "in his favour" and also why he insisted on showing the video to Mrs Yog?

Did he want a second opinion or was he showing off?

I think that the 'in his favour' is the presumed (on my part) fact that his big willy attracts people who are in to big willies, and that they are able to dismiss his age, which might be the case if he wasn't so well endowed. I don't think he showed his film to Mrs. Yog on her own - in that I think everyone in the room at the time was shown a bit of the film. I have no idea whether he was showing off or not. If you put a gun to my head then I'd say not. I just think he has the libido of a tom cat. He is forever on a gay meet up site (as in morning, noon and night).

No, I only look that old, I'm not really.  Last year I took voluntary redundancy, arranged for this Friday, and then fortunately got another job to start in mid-April. Day one will be spent booking time off in June.

I use my email for both me and my cousin, and I've just got his payment reminder first. It's like Emily's got a warped sense of humour as she types up and sends each email out to us.

Have I missed something - you're not paying your balance ? not going or got alternative means of being at the festival?

I was offered a litter picking place, so I'm doing that. Makes it all a bit cheaper, and means I can get onsite early :)

Evening all. Long day at graft today, I need an early night. Pea soup here this morning but turned into a beautiful day. I love days like this, really makes me look forward to June and the view of the farm. I love walking back to camp at 5am when the sun is coming up

I think bin painting and similar roles are among the harder areas to get in on. Tends to be a case of knowing someone who already does it and can recommend you. Might be worth trying to seek out someone who does it while your there this year and having a chat, try to establish a connection to the team?

I'm in a cat cafe in Edinbourgh catching up on efestivals

I've heard of these cat cafe's. Apparently there's a few of them about the country now. I don't like cats at all, but apparently there's loads of people out there that do but can't have their own cat - hence the cat cafe concept.
