Bonjour mes amis! Been an interesting couple of days; ended up working my afternoon off again on Friday, so got pretty much shitfaced on Friday night. Was then up yesterday morning, complete with obligatory hangover, to spend the day volunteering with the wildlife trust.

Cue a day's fairly hefty effort cutting back, uprooting and burning rhodedendrons at a reserve the other side of Sussex. Which really helped my headache!

Sun shining and hangover free today! I see another day of pottering and gardening to the sounds of the glasto playlist! NFR NFC!

A day of sorting, sorting and sorting, with Glastonbury playlist on in all rooms .... Will fit in a few hours walking later as need to increase the mileage ready for the festival

I've been listening to Future Islands in my car (their Singles album). I missed them the last time they did Glasto but i saw their set on iPlayer and it looked amazing.The lead singer is insane (in a good way), and i definitely want to catch them this time round,

I've added a few more to my list. Currently 23 on it. Need to whittle once we get to clashfinder stage. Its gonna be a tough year in that regard. I also have a gut feeling it's gonna be a hot dry one.

What a lovely weekend, brought a new BBQ smoker, paid off the ticket balance, which means that I need to grab my walking boots and start increasing walking for the festival! For some reason I think that's always a good idea, oh I've walked 12 miles today. I'm ready for the festival.

I have every confidence that the weather gods will be good to us this year, hot and dry, sun hats and sun cream required
